This old woolen mill building, known as Bloomfield Woolen Company, was built in 1922 and operated until the mid 1960's. The company used to make oval woven rugs and blankets for the military.
It has changed hands a few times but the nostalgia continues to be a focal point of the town. And when the girls and I worked together to come up with something that was meaningful to the community, this was a natural fit.
The building has a very urban, grungy feel so we decided to collaborate with each other on styling the outfits, makeup, and hair. My team enjoys doing their own hair and makeup so they got together and agreed on a look and style.
Each girl selected a different place in the building to show off the history of the old mill. Right now the building is currently undergoing a facelift, so we're anxious to see what it becomes in the future!
